Counterfeit Assessment

At WinGolf, we are committed to protecting our customers and the integrity of the PING brand. Counterfeit golf clubs and equipment have increasingly entered the Singapore market through unauthorised online sellers and certain unaccredited retailers. These counterfeit products can closely resemble genuine PING items, making them difficult to identify without professional assessment.

Free Product Authentication Service

If you suspect that a PING product you own may be counterfeit — or if you simply wish to verify its authenticity — you are welcome to bring it to any of our official PING Performance Centers for a free inspection and verification.

This service is complimentary and available even if the product was not purchased from a WinGolf outlet.

Visit Our Performance Centers

You may bring your item to any of the following authorized WinGolf retail outlets for authentication:

  • WINGOLF @ Orchid Country Club

  • WINGOLF @ Far East Shopping Centre
  • WINGOLF @ Isetan Scotts

  • PING @ Keppel Club Pro Shop

(Visit www.wingolf.com.sg/retail-outlets for full addresses and operating hours.)

What We Check

Our trained and certified PING fitters will assess:

  • Serial number and official registration status

  • Build quality, materials, finish, and engraving

  • Product components against genuine specifications

  • Overall product integrity

You will receive a verbal confirmation of authenticity or advice if the product is identified as counterfeit.

Why It Matters

Counterfeit golf clubs are not only illegal reproductions — they also pose performance, quality, and safety risks. Using unauthorised products may also void access to official PING services such as warranty coverage, fitting adjustments, or part replacements.

No Appointment Required

Simply visit any of our Performance Centers during business hours. No prior registration or purchase receipt is necessary.

If you have questions, feel free to contact us via our Contact page.

Counterfeit golf clubs have been finding their way into Singapore via internet purchases and some unauthorized golf retailers.  It can be difficult for the consumer to see the difference between genuine PING products and counterfeits.

If you suspect you may have purchased a counterfeit, or if you need the authenticity of a PING product assessed and verified, you can bring it to either of our PING Performance Centers for inspection and verification (click on Locator tab for locations and details).

The service is provided free-of-charge and also extended to products not purchased from WinGolf outlets.
