PING iCrossover

Newly designed with proven Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adjustability, this compact design for better players elevates long-iron performance from a lower CG and maraging steel face that generate faster speed and higher launch to carry shots farther with stopping power. An EVA polymer enhances feel and sound. The rounded lead edge optimizes turf interaction, a toe screw and tip weight increase MOI, and shorter club lengths ensure better control. Available in 2, 3, 4.

TECHNOLOGY

Maraging Steel Face

High ball speed comes from the thin, maraging steel face and lower CG position, which is closer to the impact location to produce more energy transfer. Precision-milled MicroMax grooves and the matte-black hyrdopearl 2.0 finish deliver consistent launch and spin from dry and wet conditions for more accuracy.

Easy Adjustability

New to an iron-style design is the ability to dial in your desired ball flight quickly and easily using the lightweight adjustable hosel that provides eight clearly marked settings to customize your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.

Trajectory Tuning Chart

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, 8-position hosel that you can adjust with a range of ±1.5° for loft and lie in various combinations, fine-tuning your ball flight for the best results.

Tour-Inspired Design

Blade lengths are slightly shorter with less offset than previous crossovers, providing a compact, tour-style appearance. To fit seamlessly into a set, standard shaft lengths are approximately ¼” shorter, and sole shaping is similar to the i230 irons, including a rounded lead edge with ample bounce for clean, solid strikes.

Low CG, High Launch

The face is robotically welded to the 17-4 stainless steel body with a lower-hinged bend point to provide higher launch for better stopping power. A smaller internal cavity with targeted EVA polymer behind the face ensures a pleasing feel and sound. Tungsten toe and shaft tip weights elevate MOI for forgiveness.

Custom-Fit Shaft

The PING Tour 2.0 Chrome 85 graphite can be custom fit for higher swing speeds, delivering low to mid launch and spin with stability for consistent trajectories.

Optional Stock Shafts

PING ALTA CB J Black delivers mid-to-high trajectories with stability and a consistent feel. Hzrdus Smoke Red RDX suits faster swings but has an active tip section for mid launch and spin. Kai’li White promotes low launch and low spin; a reinforced tip promotes center impact and tighter dispersion.

PING offers a variety of shaft flexes in steel and graphite to meet your needs and preferences. Selecting the proper shaft flex for your swing will help you get the most distance and accuracy from every shot. Generally, players with faster swing speeds require stiffer shafts to keep the ball trajectory lower, while players with slower swing speeds will require more-flexible shafts to produce a higher ball trajectory.

The choice of steel or graphite shafts is usually based on preferences for weight and/or feel. Players seeking a lighter overall weight and/or a softer feel in their irons may prefer graphite shafts, while players who prefer a standard-weight club with a firmer feel may prefer steel shafts.

We recommend that you get fit for the shaft that allows you to play your best golf. Whether that’s a softer, lighter shaft with a higher launch or a heavier, stiffer shaft with a lower trajectory, a PING Certified Club Fitter can help you find the shaft that brings consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. Since grip size influences your wrist action, and therefore the direction of your shots, it is commonly used by fitters to affect ball flight.

PING color-coded grips are available in six different diameters, and can be further customized with grip tape according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers may consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.
